ARISTO VOLLMER GmbH is the first watch manufacturer to present a collection in which the carbon qualities can unfold - from the dial to the case and the bracelet.

Automotive designers have always known carbon fibers (also called "carbon fibers" or "carbon fibers") offering completely new design and production possibilities. In Formula 1 and in other royal classes of motorsport the winning teams owe the carbon materials some of their great successes.

Pforzheimer ARISTO VOLLMER GmbH presented the world's first sports watch manufacturer as a carbon watch with a carbon-fiber dial (model 3H45) as early as 2004. Aristo CEO Hansjörg Vollmer recognized the chances of this material at a very early stage, because carbon is 
up to 80% lighter than steel and with the same load capacity

Further good properties of carbon materials are their low and barely measurable thermal expansion, low density as well as high stiffness and strength. This qualifies them as an ideal material for water- and dust-proof watch cases.

A number of prototypes from the ARISTOK construction office have left their attention to the design possibilities of the carbon fiber composite materials in recent years. Hansjörg Vollmer presents the first results of this work in 2012: "With our carbon products, we are leading a number of traditions of the watch and jewelery town Pforzheim into a new era."

Since 1907 the Pforzheimer sports watch manufacturer ARISTO has accumulated experience with the best materials of its time - from gold and silver to high-quality stainless steel. Since 1922, the watch band manufacturer Ernst Vollmer also tested and processed every available material and developed production techniques right up to serial production.

With the experience treasures of these two Pforzheimer tradition companies in the back, Aristo boss Hansjörg Vollmer can confirm today: "Carbon is the perfect basic material for today's watch and jewelery designers."

Materials made of carbon-fiber compounds are characterized above all by their skin-friendliness. Carbon products are allergieutral and corrosion resistant. Even after intensive use, their surfaces show virtually no signs of wear or wear.

ARISTO VOLLMER GmbH uses the good experience gained with carbon materials for design studies with various material compilations. Above all the combinations stainless steel carbon and titanium carbon offer design options for watches, watch bands and jewelery with noble look and high attention value.
